The first trailer for Avengers: Endgame has confirmed Hawkeye’s presence in the movie, but features the Battling Bowman in an outfit that may hint at a terrible fate for his family. The Ronin costume also suggests a new identity for Clint Barton, mimicking the comics that immediately followed the original Civil War event. Many Avengers fans were upset that Clint “Hawkeye” Barton was completely absent from Infinity War. A throwaway bit of dialogue in the film explained his absence, revealing that both Clint Barton and Scott “Ant-Man” Lang had accepted plea-bargains that allowed them to serve their sentences under house-arrest, after escaping from prison at the end of Captain America: Civil War....

Avengers 4 is the perfect chance for Marvel to bring a much-loved character back from the dead - it’s time for Quicksilver to fight alongside the Avengers once again. Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s version of the super-speedster was introduced, and quickly killed off, in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. In contrast, Fox has been developing their own version of Quicksilver - played by Evan Peters - since 2014’s X-Men: Days of Future Past, and the Fox films have demonstrated rather well just how powerful a super-speedster can be....

Average mobile data usage now exceeds 10GB per month, says a new report. The increase in data usage is partly driven by growth in 5G devices, with 5G users set to double this year. But two further factors explain the surprisingly high figure, says mobile network company Ericsson… First, there are countries where smartphones, rather than tablets or laptops, are the primary mobile device – and mobile data is used by more people than fixed broadband....

Netflix Horror comedy sequel The Babysitter 2 has revealed its cast, and it’s exactly the same as it was the first time around. The Babysitter was released on Netflix in October 2017, and saw 12-year-old Cole battle his babysitter and her friends when he accidentally discovers them to be part of a satanic cult who sacrifice innocents to feed a magical tome with their blood. The Babysitter movie sequel picks up two years after the first movie ended and now sees Cole battling a different and far more enduring adversary: high school....

Former The Bachelor star Ben Higgins responds to the news that his ex-fiancé Lauren Bushnell is now engaged. Country singer and songwriter, Chris Lane, asked Lauren Bushnell to be his wife this week, and ex-fiancé Higgins speaks openly about what he thinks of the engagement. Higgins and Bushnell got engaged in 2016 during his season of The Bachelor, but their relationship ended in May the following year. Bushnell started to date Lane, who she’d been friends with for years, in the fall of 2018 and the two made their debut as a couple at the CMI Country Music Awards in Nashville, Tennessee that November....

As contestants look for love in all the wrong places, they’re beginning to show their true colors. Bachelor in Paradise is a Bachelor spinoff where former contestants meet at a luxury, Mexican resort, go on dates with one another, then gossip about it in the privacy of the confessional - ultimately with romantic goals, of course....

Apple’s master of minimalism Jony Ive probably hates the fact that the company is legally required to mark the back of iPhones and iPads with a bunch of regulatory stampings, but as of today the largest of them – the FCC approval symbols – will no longer be required. The E-Label Act first proposed in July has today been signed into law by President Obama. Manufacturers will still be required to display FCC symbols, but can now do so in software rather than cluttering up the rear of the casing....

Batman has faced some ridiculous enemies and been put in some absurd situations over the course of the characters’ more than 80-year history in the comics. However, one plot from the late 1960s might be the silliest of them all. Batman’s enemies planned on taking the Caped Crusader down by trying to get him married. While Batman has experienced both hit and miss moments in his more recent history, the silver age version of Batman was ripe for the silliness of comics of the era....

Despite its controversial ending, the 2004 version of Battlestar Galactica remains one of the best sci-fi shows ever written. Its fantastic ensemble cast, complex politics, and surprising plot twists combined beautifully with Bear McCreary’s breathtaking soundtrack to create one of the best shows ever, period. With 76 episodes and several TV movies created over its run, the series is rich with content. The storytelling built itself to a fever pitch by the end of every season, and the writing rarely missed the mark....

If you think that there couldn’t possibly be another way to tell the timeless story of the Prince of Darkness, guess again. From the creators of the wildly popular Sherlock and the rebooted Doctor Who comes Dracula, a mini-series joint venture between BBC One and Netflix. With its first frenetic trailer, it promises to be both gory and strangely beautiful, walking a fine line between pleasure and pain like creatures of the night always do....

Over the next couple of years, there will be plenty of Marvel content for fans to pour over. Across TV and movies, the company will be bringing a number of new characters to life and continuing the adventures of its core heroes. All of this work—at least on the film side—will culminate a little over a year from now in next summer’s Avengers: Infinity War. While the details of the project remain tightly locked down, we’ve at least heard that just about every superhero we’ve meet so far in the theaters will be showing up to battle Thanos and his minions....

Avengers: Endgame creeps closer and closer to our movie screens. Very little is known about the plot, resulting in an enormous influx of rumors, theories, and predictions. The cast list has been one of the most debated aspects of the movie. Regardless of what IMDB and Google say, (sources that can be easily edited by anyone), the only confirmed characters for Endgame are the heroes who survived Infinity War, plus Hawkeye, Ant-Man, Captain Marvel and obviously Thanos....

Josh Brolin continues to sing the praises of Avengers: Infinity War, this time comparing the role of Thanos to experimental theater. While many so-called prestige directors use their platform to lambast the popular trend of superhero films, fans the world over seem to be plenty pleased with the rise in comic book adaptations. Still, few would refer to the output of Marvel or DC as high art. Regardless, Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios certainly took a creative risk when they set up a shared cinematic universe that would merge together multiple stories, characters, and films—and the culmination of that pioneering move is nearly upon us....

Former Bachelorette star Chad Johnson is at at again. Known as the toxic chauvinist from JoJo Fletcher’s season, Johnson disappeared from Bachelor Nation quite some time ago. However, that doesn’t keep him from commenting on current seasons and desperately clinging to some sort of relevance, however negative it may be. When Johnson fought for Fletcher’s heart on season 12 of The Bachelorette, his impact wasn’t a positive one. He was undoubtedly the season’s villain and generally appeared to use aggressive and intimidating behavior toward the men in the house - and occasionally JoJo herself....

Perhaps the most influential action director of the last couple decades, Bay decided to pursue a career in film after serving as an intern on Raiders of the Lost Ark when he was fifteen. He went on to direct several popular commercials and music videos in the late ’80s and early ’90s, working with artists like Styx, Meat Loaf, and Tina Turner....

New fan art imagines what Billy Dee Williams could have looked like as Two-Face in a Tim Burton directed Batman movie. Billy Dee Williams had a small role as District Attorney Harvey Dent in Batman, with the actor taking the role with the understanding Dent would eventually transform into the villainous Two-Face in a sequel. It’s been misreported in recent years the character of Max Shreck (Christopher Walken) in Batman Returns was originally written as Dent, with the character’s electrocution by Catwoman in the finale explaining how he got scared....

Zack Snyder’s longtime cinematographer says the new guy on Justice League is doing some “incredible” work. Snyder collaborated with Larry Fong on Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, among several other movies, but for Justice League enlisted the services of German cinematographer Fabian Wagner. This has apparently led to concerns from at least one fan of Fong’s work. However, Fong revealed that he has seen parts of Justice League ahead of its November release date....

Battlefield V is bringing in a number of major changes, and among them is the removal of the Behemoths that appeared in Battlefield 1. The Behemoths acted as massive special vehicles, available to a losing side to help close the gap in a game. It added an interesting extra dynamic to play within Battlefield 1, in a way that helped separate the title from its peers. However, Battlefield V is throwing out the rulebook it seems....
