While a portion of the Internet has been using Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice as a punching bag almost since it was first announced, it’s always been hard to imagine the film not performing well at the box office. Batman and Superman are two of the most iconic characters in the history of American pop culture, and with Wonder Woman also involved in the superheroic fray, the question has become not whether BVS will do well financially but just how well it will ultimately do....

As years have gone by, certain aspects of Batman’s character have changed here and there. The color scheme has sometimes been altered, or his outlook on the world can change depending on the writer behind him. Even the various films based upon the adventures of Batman on the streets of Gotham have portrayed the iconic superhero using a variety of difference tones and visual cues. Star Wars: Battlefront 2 players are going to get some new content, with the title heading back to the Clone Wars. Edgar Wright, whether by his own choice or not, spends a long time developing his films. Tim Burton’s Batman was a game-changing blockbuster for Hollywood and would shatter the campy image of the character from the 1960s TV show. A sequel was inevitable, but Burton wasn’t sure he wanted to make it. Avengers star Don Cheadle will be serving as executive producer on 10-episode comedy series Black Monday. The series will air on Showtime and be co-produced by Sony Pictures Television, the network announced Thursday. Cheadle will also star in the series alongside Andrew Rannells and Regina Hall. Black Monday, which was created by the duo of David Caspe (Happy Endings) and Jordan Cahan, will take place in the 1980s and focus on the worst stock market crash in the history of Wall Street....
