Kevin Feige has suggested that the name of the currently untitled Avengers 4 isn’t as big a deal as the secrecy suggests. When Marvel announced their Phase 3 slate in 2014, it was set to culminate with the two-part Avengers: Infinity War event, with Part 1 in 2018 and Part 2 a year later in 2019. There have been several changes to the line-up since then (the addition of Spider-Man: Homecoming after the deal with Sony and removal of Inhumans) but by far the most mysterious was the removal of the duology nomenclature: Avengers 3 alone is now Infinity War, with the fourth currently untitled....

Former The Bachelorette star Mike Johnson has finally gone on a first date with pop mega-star Demi Lovato, after weeks of speculation and social media flirting. It seems they’re finally getting to know each other. Johnson was a contestant on the most recent season of The Bachelorette and though he didn’t win the heart of Hannah Brown, he won the heart of Bachelor Nation fans - and he attracted the attention of Lovato....

Tonight The Flash season 4 premiered with ‘The Flash Reborn’, picking up events six months after the end of last season’s finale where Barry surrendered himself to the Speed Force. One side-effect to putting gigantic amounts of your movie into its own marketing a full year before it’s released: That leaves plenty of material for parody-artists to work with when taking you down a peg (unless, of course, you’re Deadpool and you’ve already done all the parodies yourself.) Case in point: Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, which has released so much pre-release advertising that it might be entirely possible to reconstruct something close to an entire movie from all the component parts - or to create some dramatically re-imagined alternate versions of the film’s now well-established central premise....

Director Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is aspiring to open the floodgates to the larger DC Extended Universe, while at the same time serving as a logical continuation of Snyder’s own Man of Steel and its re-imagining of Kal-El’s (Henry Cavill) journey to form his Superman identity. Furthermore, Man of Steel’s divisive critical/fan response is being incorporated into the narrative of its followup, with an older Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) reassuming his crime-fighting career as the Batman in response to the destruction that Superman inadvertently unleashed upon Metropolis during his battle with General Zod (Michael Shannon)....

Globular astromech droid BB-8 will cross paths with his First Order counterpart BB-9E during a scene in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. BB-8, of course, was one of the breakout stars in The Force Awakens, and now his model of robot is set to be an integral part of the sequel trilogy. In addition to rusty-looking BB units the Resistance uses, the villains of the story will have their own cute droid at their disposal....

British parents have long known that handing your kids an iPad full of children’s TV shows is a good way to keep them quiet for a while appropriately entertained and informed. The BBC has made that job even easier today by launching a special iPlayer Kids app. The iPad app, which has a user-interface suitable for young children, features only age-appropriate TV shows. Each child in the family creates their own profile, complete with their age and a cartoon character to represent them, and the app them automatically filters the shows offered....

Tickets for Avengers: Endgame are being sold on eBay, and some sellers are actually asking thousands of dollars. Coming one year after the universe-shattering Avengers: Infinity War, Endgame promises to raise the stakes even higher, resulting in the biggest and most epic Marvel movie of all. It may seem impossible that the Russo Brothers could actually top Infinity War for pure spectacle, but the three-hour running time of Endgame seems to indicate that they’ve done just that....

There was a lot riding on Avengers: Infinity War. Following a decade of build-up, the Marvel Cinematic Universe finally brought all of its characters together (well, most of them; Hawkeye and Ant-Man were curiously absent, but hardly missed) and introduced the threat of Thanos six years after he was originally teased in The Avengers’ mid-credits scene. Against all odds, the Russo brothers’ superhero-infested epic managed to satisfy fans across the world — which was particularly impressive following the disappointment of Joss Whedon’s Avengers: Age of Ultron — but it wasn’t without its flaws....

Take a closer look at Captain America’s (Chris Evans) broken shield from Avengers: Endgame. Marvel Studios’ culminating film featured a massive final action piece that saw almost all heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe going up against Thanos (Josh Brolin) and his minions. But the battle initially began with just Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Captain America fighting the Mad Titan in what looked like a losing effort....

There’s Logan Lucky, Steven Soderbergh’s NASCAR heist film that has Channing Tatum and Adam Driver playing brothers. Or The Disaster Artist, the fabled story of a top tier Z-movie, starring James Franco in a role he was born to play. Even Thor: Ragnorak, with Taika Waititi at the helm and Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, and Tessa Thompson in the cast, comes off as something we’d never get to see....

DC Comics will revisit one of the most chilling confrontations in comics history in Batgirl #47, featuring the Joker and Barbara Gordon, the original Batgirl. The official preview offers a glimpse at a scene that will be familiar and terrifying to longtime followers of the Bat-Family of characters. The cover deliberately references one of the iconic stories in Batman lore, promising “devastating” consequences for all involved. The preview for Batgirl #47 alludes to The Killing Joke, a one-shot graphic novel by writer Alan Moore and artist Brian Bolland, first published in 1988 and adapted to an animated film in 2016, routinely mentioned as one of the most influential Batman stories of all time....

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice cinematographer Larry Fong reveals that they indeed shot a sequence featuring Superman looking for Martha around Metropolis after learning that Lex Luthor kidnapped his mom. A frequent collaborator of Zack Snyder, Fong was the man behind the stunning shots of both Man of Steel and BvS, so this new bit of information from him has fans talking.
