Last Updated: May 23 DICE’s long-running first-person shooter franchise returns this year with Battlefield V. The acclaimed video game developer saw enormous success with the release of Battlefield 1 in 2016. It quickly outsold both 2013’s Battlefield 4 and 2015’s Battlefield Hardline. And by taking place during WWI, the studio was able to circumvent the fatigue players were experiencing with modern-day shooters. Now, DICE is looking to build off all that success with the release of Battlefield 5 or Battlefield V, as was officially revealed not too long ago....

The Avengers 4 trailer may be released very soon based on when the official prelude comic will be sold. Since the second Avengers: Infinity War ended, almost all fans can think about is what comes next. There’s been no marketing to this point, but that could change in the near future. While some may not even want to see a trailer for Avengers 4, Marvel Studios still needs to let the general public know that the follow-up to their $2 billion hit is coming next year....

Major spoilers for Avengers: Infinity War. - One of the most fascinating twists in Avengers: Infinity War involves Doctor Strange and Tony Stark. Early on in the film, Strange insists that he will sacrifice anyone and anything in order to prevent Thanos getting his hands on the Time Stone. Then, later in the movie, Strange actually bargains with Thanos - he offers him the Time Stone if he leaves Tony Stark alive....

As we await Apple’s full-on redesign of the MacBook Pro, hopefully with a rethought keyboard in tow, Apple surprised us with another spec-bumped MacBook Pro release alongside the launch of the new 23.7-inch LG UltraFine Display. In light of the ongoing keyboard issues, it would be all too easy to criticize Apple for releasing yet another MacBook with a slightly-modified butterfly key switch design. The criticism is well-deserved given the history of the keyboard issues, but I also think it’s worth looking at the positive aspects of this release....

New fan art replaces every character on the latest Avengers: Endgame poster with the true hero of the MCU, Captain Marvel’s Goose the Cat. With mere weeks remaining before the next Avengers film answers all the many gripping questions left over from Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel has dropped a surprise new trailer that finally shows Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel interacting with members of the Avengers (specifically Thor). Marvel also released a new poster that immediately created outrage due to the omission of Okoye actor Danai Gurira’s name from the cast list....

There are rumors the as-yet-untitled Avengers 4 could actually feature Kronos and the Eternals. There’s a sense in which that’s hardly a surprisel; Marvel is known to be working on an Eternals movie as part of the post-Phase 3 MCU, and Jim Starlin recently hinted that Avengers 4 would introduce another one of his comic book characters. Avengers: Infinity War set up the Eternals in a number of subtle ways. When the Red Skull speaks to Thanos, he identifies him as the son of A’lars....

A new video shows how the Avengers: Endgame trailer should have ended, by introducing the X-Men and several other Marvel characters. The first trailer for Avengers 4 was released online a few weeks ago, and fans have already started dissecting the trailer for clues about the upcoming film. Avengers: Endgame will be the fourth film in the Avengers series, and the 22nd overall film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Like most trailers, the Avengers: Endgame trailer was only a couple minutes long, but fans were able to pull a lot of information from those few short minutes....

There has been a media campaign since the summer to make Johnson the next Bachelor, and to make history for the franchise. Holy strawberries, Bachelor Nation, we’re in a jam! The next Bachelor has been revealed to be Peter Weber, a Bachelorette contestant who only made it to week nine in his season. Social media is reeling and exploding due to ABC announcing they have chosen another white lead....

The fourth DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was announced during Nintendo’s E3 2019 Direct and it turns out that Microsoft is letting one of its characters be part of the series, as Banjo-Kazooie are coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The E3 Nintendo Direct opened with the reveal that four of the heroes from the Dragon Quest series are coming to the game as DLC characters, who are collectively known as The Hero....

There’s really no question that when it comes to rogues galleries; there is no superhero whose cast of no-good scoundrels is as recognizable as Batman’s. Bad guys like the Penguin, Catwoman, Two-Face, and the Scarecrow are almost as well known as the dark knight himself. In the last decade, movies such as Batman Begins and Suicide Squad have also popularized characters like Ra’s al Ghul, Harley Quinn, and Bane. More BBC TV shows are likely to appear on BritBox, the $6.99/month streaming video service that aims to provide access to the best of British television to a US audience … Britbox launched in the US two years ago, offering both contemporary shows and classics like The Office, Fawlty Towers, Blackadder, Absolutely Fabulous, Miss Marple, Inspector Morse, Prime Suspect and Cracker. Currently, the BBC is subject to legal restrictions on which shows it can offer, and for how long....

Joe and Anthony Russo, the directors of a number of MCU entries including Avengers: Endgame, have stated they aren’t surprised that Marvel has lost the right to use Spider-Man. The falling out between Marvel and Sony resulted in the former being unable to use the character, to whom the latter controls the rights, for use in any future MCU movies. The problems began last month when negotiations broke down between Sony and Disney over the use of Spider-Man in the MCU, the issue, somewhat predictably, reportedly being one of money....

It’s been less than a year since Marvel Studios kicked off Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but they are already prepping for the end. Just how did Thanos recognize Tony Stark in Avengers: Infinity War, and does it actually set up a plot for the as-yet-untitled Avengers 4? There’s a sense in which this was the strangest scene in Infinity War. Thanos, the Mad Titan, caught a glimpse of Tony Stark’s face, and recognized him at once. “Stark,” he snarled. When Stark expressed surprise at being recognized, Thanos responded that he isn’t “the only one cursed with knowledge....

The Bachelor’s Vanessa Grimaldi didn’t want Nick Viall to propose on the show. The couple polarized many in Bachelor Nation, in part, because of the complicated nature of their union. Think back to Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor. Earlier this year Bare Bones Software sunset its TextWrangler app and said it will focus fully on BBEdit for future versions of macOS. Today Bare Bones is shipping the next major update to BBEdit, version 12.0, which is made for macOS High Sierra. The last major point update to the text and code editor came in 2014 with BBEdit 11.0 which included three years of updates. The new version includes loads of bug fixes for issues users reported, Bare Bones says, plus there are new feature additions as well....

The first trailer for the Joker movie actually includes a brief glimpse of Bruce Wayne aka the future Batman - but it’s easy to miss. Ahead of the release of Shazam! this weekend, Warner Bros. has dropped their first trailer for Joker, an origin story for the Clown Prince of Crime that’s not tied to the DCEU in any way. Although the project was initially treated with some skepticism by moviegoers, director Todd Phillips has attracted an all-star cast including Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck, the man who will be come Joker....

More art for Avengers 4 has found its way online, giving up new character details ahead of the secretive MCU culmination. Officially, there’s not been much concrete information about next year’s untitled Avengers sequel, with Marvel letting Avengers: Infinity War’s cliffhanger ending do most of the talking. However, that doesn’t mean some info hasn’t made it out, From set photos, we were able to deduce that Avengers 4 will be dealing with time travel, and art shown at CineEurope gave a first look at the heroes of the film - the OG Avengers plus snap-survivors Ant-Man, Rocket, Nebula and Captain Marvel - and their redesign....
