Avengers: Infinity War picks up its character story arcs and team dynamics from where Captain America: Civil War left most of its Avengers, disassembled, but not everyone had a break up, so to speak. Vision and Wanda Maximoff a.k.a. Scarlet Witch have since become romantically involved, as the odd pair were in Marvel Comics, and that poses some interesting challenges for the two heroes given that one of them was brought to life with an Infinity Stone that the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s greatest villain is after....

Will Thanos Assemble The Infinity Stones? The Infinity Stones have been the MCU’s biggest MacGuffins, weaving throughout Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World, Avengers: Age of Ultron, the first Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange, and Thor: Ragnarok. In the AoU post-credits tease, when Thanos promised “Fine, I’ll do it myself” as he donned the golden Infinity Gauntlet (which was empty of the mighty Stones), he meant it....

Jordan Kimball blamed Christian Estrada for the fight that went down on Bachelor in Paradise that got them both kicked off the show. Not one to back down, Kimball apparently hasn’t stymied his pugnacity even when discussing the impetus for the fight. Kimball and Estrada first argued on the Men Tell All episode of The Bachelorette, during Becca Kufrin’s season. Clay Harbor, who somehow wound up as an innocent bystander in this whole fight, was also a part of Kufrin’s season....

It had been thought that Apple would only have two suppliers to choose from when it came to its rumored switch to OLED displays for at least some iPhones next year: Samsung and LG. A third contender emerged in June, when it was reported that Sharp’s OLED panel business would be up-and-running by next year, and it now seems possible that Japan Display will also be in the running. We learned back in August that Japan Display was seeking a government bailout to help it invest in OLED manufacturing capabilities, and the WSJ today reports that the company is now in ‘advanced talks’ for an infusion of around 75B Yen ($700M)....

In the previous chapter where we discussed decisions, we made the computer think logically. Combine that with loops and we have an almost humanoid program that can think, work, and repeat the steps throughout the day. What are loops? Loops are control flow statements that allow a program to execute the common repetitive task (or statements) up to a particular number of times.​ Here’s a simple analogy, we wake up and work through 9 AM till 5 PM then sleep for the night and repeat the same process all over again....

Following today’s reveal that Warner Bros. is developing an animated Batman Beyond film for release in theaters, Will Friedle - the original voice actor for lead character Terry McGinnis - has expressed his interest in reprising the role. The Batman Beyond animated television series ran from 1999-2001 and will serve as the foundation of the film’s story. After the wildly popular Batman: The Animated Series wrapped in 1995, Batman Beyond was launched as a futuristic follow-up in which an aging Bruce Wayne has given up his role as the Caped Crusader....

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice will bring the Man of Steel (Henry Cavill) and the Caped Crusader (Ben Affleck) together on the big screen for the first time, while at the same time setting up the first Justice League film due to arrive in 2017. Both Batman V Superman and the Justice League movies are being directed by Zack Snyder, who likewise helmed the Superman origins re-imagining and franchise reboot, Man of Steel, that will serve as the first brick in the wall for the upcoming shared DC movie universe (aka the DC Extended Universe)....

An update on the long-awaited Battlestar Galactica movie reveals that it may gender swap some of the franchise’s key roles. As a piece of sci-fi nostalgia, the original Battlestar Galactica TV show ran from for a single season in 1978, before getting several continuations and the popular noughties remake. A feature film based on Glen A. Larson’s world has been in the works since 2009, but recently took a big step by attaching impressive talent like Red Sparrow director Francis Lawrence and Westworld co-creator/showrunner Lisa Joy....

DC Films co-chairman Geoff Johns promises that Batman will figure significantly into Flashpoint, the upcoming film starring Ezra Miller’s iteration of the Flash that will adapt the alternate reality comic book run of the same name that Johns himself wrote. Miller’s version of the scarlet speedster had brief cameos in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, and is making his proper debut in Justice League. While DC has gotten solo films for Wonder Woman and Aquaman up and running in relatively short order, a Flash film has proved more problematic, with directors coming and going and the film’s release date an open question....

SPOILERS for Avengers: Endgame Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo attempt to clear up any confusion about Captain America’s ending. The final shot of the MCU’s Infinity Saga turned out to be one of the most emotional and cathartic in the entire franchise. After returning the six Infinity Stones to their proper places, Steve Rogers opted to remain in the past and finally have that dance with Peggy Carter. Thanks to the magic of time travel, he was able to live the full life he was robbed of, coming back to the present as an old man to pass the Captain America mantle to Sam Wilson....

One of the luxuries of Marvel putting out multiple movies each year is that they can use current movies to introduce characters for the next ones. The studio has been doing it for years, of course, and not only in post-credit scenes; it’s not much of a spoiler to say that Black Panther and the latest version of Spider-Man both make their Marvel debuts in Captain America: Civil War. Spider-Man’s solo movie comes out in 2017 and Black Panther’s will arrive in 2018....
