Brian Braddock aka Captain Britain may have been introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Avengers: Endgame. Marvel Studios just wrapped up a story that was 22 movies in the making and did so in some definitive ways; Iron Man died to save the universe and Captain America grew old with Peggy Carter after returning the Infinity Stones to the past. The latter pays off an arc that many fans wanted to see, but also gave the two an actual encounter after Cap sees her in 1970 during one of the time travel missions....

Marvel comics writer Dan Slott didn’t like Spider-Man activating Instant Kill and using it against the Outriders in Avengers: Endgame. The prolific writer currently works on Tony Stark: Iron Man and Fantastic Four in print, but he’s best known for his long run on The Amazing Spider-Man. No wonder he has strong opinions about how the web-slinging hero played by Tom Holland on the big screen is handled by the MCU....

Marvel Studios wins big at this year’s People’s Choice Awards (officially 2018 E! People’s Choice Awards) by nabbing several accolades including “The Action Movie of 2018” for Avengers: Infinity War. Going through a major rebranding this year, the 44th edition of the annual awards show moved from CBS to E! following the latter’s acquisition of the People’s Choice Awards from Procter & Gamble which had been sponsoring the event since its inception in 1975....

Despite the high expectations of fans given the success of Avengers: Infinity War in 2018, Avengers: Endgame has not only managed to match those same expectations - but better them too. The Russo Brothers’ latest masterpiece is a cinematic blockbuster, a fitting ending to the first 22 films of the MCU and something that pushes the boundaries of modern film-making as we know it. It has blown the box office away, too, on a global scale....

Well, he’s here: Ben Affleck has now been firmly established as the most extreme, the darkest, and the most menacing big screen Batman yet (which is saying a lot, given the character has been gracing movie theaters since 1943). Such a fresh take on the character and his mythos, of course, will require equally original villains – and while brand-new interpretations of such cinematic stalwarts as Joker and Catwoman could help fit the bill, perhaps the better solution is to offer up the literally dozens of Bat-baddies who have yet to make the transition to the big screen at all....

Rocksteady Studios’ Arkham games, published by Warner Bros. Interactive, finally gave a comic book superhero a video game series worthy of the character and indeed the universe they lived in. It just so happened that character was Batman, one of the most popular superheroes around. Featuring an intuitive combat system that has been used for almost every other licensed game in Warner Bros’ roster like Mad Max and Shadow of Mordor, Arkham Asylum was a critical hit....

Warning: SPOILERS for Superman: Heroes Batman seemingly has it all. Money, cool cars, all the best gadgets, a giant penny, but there’s one thing he doesn’t have that Clark Kent does. Bruce Wayne doesn’t normally seem like the jealous type. In fact, most people wish they were him! However, with Superman revealing his identity to the world, Bruce believes this gives Clark and his family a sense of freedom that he feels he will never know....

Batwoman season 1, episode 6, “I’ll Be Judge, I’ll Be Jury,” revealed that Jack Napier is the real name of The Joker in the Arrowverse. While this is a reference that is sure to amuse Bat-fans, it is also a marked contrast from how most Batman stories have dealt with the identity of the Clown Prince of Crime. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 hits theaters next month, and it sees the return of everyone’s favorite space-faring superheroes: Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Rocket (Bradley Cooper), Groot (Vin Diesel) and Drax (Dave Bautista). Fans are looking forward to the same kind of wacky and colorful action and humor that made the original so popular in 2014, and from the positive early reactions to the movie, it seems like they are going to get it....

The BBC was ready to take on Netflix at its own game but regulation got in the way. In recent years, the BBC has been accused of falling behind the times with some arguing that in spite of being funded by what many consider a tax, the service missed out on the early streaming wave. The broadcasting company sees things very differently. The BBC recently came under direct attack when the British politician, Nicola Morgan, suggested it could go the way of Blockbuster Video if it does not become more like Netflix....

Avengers: Endgame included a cool Iron Man 3 cameo during Tony Stark’s funeral, but the moment also highlights a major issue with the MCU. Many fans were wondering who the seemingly random teenager at Tony Stark’s wedding was, and it turns out it was the actor Ty Simpkins, reprising his role as Harley from Iron Man 3. In Iron Man 3, Tony Stark was suffering from PTSD after the battle of New York in The Avengers, and obsessed with finding a way to keep the world safe from another invasion....

The team behind Avengers: Endgame shot an alternate sequence for Black Widow’s death where Hawkeye dies instead. Avengers: Endgame became the highest-grossing movie of all time earlier this year and continues to be one of the most talked about movies months after its release. Capping off the Infinity Saga, it helped bring the MCU’s Phase Three to a close while sending off some of the heroes who have been a part of the franchise since the beginning....

Phase 1 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe ended with the tease that the newly formed Avengers’ baddest foe is waiting in the wings. The smirking turn for those unaware was just that of a random purple alien, but for comic fans, it was instantly recognized that Thanos had been introduced. Since then, Thanos hasn’t really done much of anything besides have his attempts to have others bring him the Infinity Stones go wrong, leaving him stoneless still....

Fans can now get their Avengers: Infinity War tickets, six weeks before it rolls out around the globe. Starring more than 70 actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the film is dubbed the start of the culmination of everything that has transpired in the last 10 years, finding narrative threads in every single film installment that has come before it. It’ll also set up what would be the bookend to 22-film storyline that the franchise has been treading since 2008 in the still-untitled Avengers 4 coming out next year....

You can check back into Bates Motel this coming March, as the prequel story to Alfred Hitchcock’s 1960 adaptation of Psycho returns for season 4. The 10-episode season will continue to chronicle Norman Bates’ (Freddie Highmore) slow descent into madness and bloodlust. Meanwhile, Norma Bates (Vera Farmiga) will seek professional help for her son, but this act will be perceived as betrayal and drive the Bates family apart. A previous teaser trailer for the upcoming season indicated that the series is drawing closer to the end, as events come further into alignment with the film....

VR or Virtual Reality gaming has been one of the biggest stories of this year’s E3, with major publishers and hardware developers coming out strong in support of a technology that many had worried would remain an expensive niche medium like previous attempts at VR gaming had been. So far several publishers have emerged with exciting new titles and VR-enabled versions of mainstays like Resident Evil and Star Trek being showcased to an enthusiastic response from crowds both present at the show and watching from home....

We’re now just a short wait away from finally seeing Ben Affleck’s Dark Knight go head to head with Henry Cavill’s Last Son of Krypton on the big screen. Directed by comic book movie regular Zack Snyder (300, Watchmen), Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice follows Cavill’s first outing as Superman in Man of Steel, which was also directed by Snyder. Specifically, Batman V Superman sees an older, more weary Batman wanting to keep Superman’s actions and powers accountable....

There’s plenty of mystery still surrounding Avengers: Endgame, but one of the biggest questions is who will be the MVP of the film. The number of heroes that are still alive after Avengers: Infinity War is much smaller than the Marvel Cinematic Universe has grown accustomed to having recently, but that just means larger roles are ahead for those who are alive. We know that Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Captain Marvel, Ant-Man, Rocket, and War Machine survived the snap and will be ready to lend their services to try and change the reality....
