When it comes down to it, promotional partnerships are a big part of blockbuster moviemaking. From retail toys to themed soda cans, opportunities to make money from superhero film franchises rarely end on the big screen. Some films lean into product placement more than others - as some promotional partners are easier to include in a movie or TV show than others. As a result, it came as somewhat of a surprise when, a few weeks back, a new sponsored trailer from Turkish Airlines revealed a new glimpse of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman in flight… on an airplane....

Robert Downey Jr. had a very different last line in mind for Tony Stark’s final outing in Avengers: Endgame. Kicking off the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Jon Favreau’s Iron Man more than a decade ago, the actor’s casting was the first pillar of what’s now become a 23-film franchise. Reprising his role 10 more times (including his cameo in The Incredible Hulk) over the course of his run, the actor bowed out with a poetic ending in Joe and Anthony Russo’s culminating movie Avengers: Endgame....

The Avengers considered visiting 2009 as part of their “Time Heist” in Avengers: Endgame - but why? As the climax of the MCU’s first three phases, Avengers: Endgame used time travel to allow the surviving Avengers to revisit their past adventures in order to acquire all six Infinity Stones. In the end, the Avengers settled for three time periods, which they visited in three separate teams. Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, and Ant-Man took advantage of the fact three Infinity Stones were in New York in 2012 during the Battle of New York; Thor and Rocket went to Asgard to retrieve the Aether in 2013; and Hawkeye, Nebula, Gamora, and War Machine went to 2014 to pick up the Power Stone on Morag and the Soul Stone on Vormir....

New designs for the Infinity Gauntlet that Thanos uses in Avengers: Infinity War have been shared online. The Infinity Gauntlet is a Dwarven glove that is used to hold and harness the power of all six Infinity Stones - Thanos’ personal weapon of choice. While Thanos is now at the forefront of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Thanos had been teased for years with the Infinity Gauntlet first appearing in Thor back in 2011....

The first trailer for Avengers: Endgame is finally here, and it sports a fittingly emotional and epic soundtrack. Fans of the MCU waited a very long time to get their first look at the upcoming film, becoming increasingly desperate for any details they could find. Ryan McPartlin joins the upcoming Bad Boys TV spinoff from NBC. Technically the third outing from the film franchise that started in the mid-90s, Gabrielle Union is set to reprise her role from Bad Boys II as Syd Burnett - the free-spirited sister of Martin Lawrence’s Marcus and love interest to Will Smith’s Mike. In the small screen iteration, however, Syd will be the central focus as she becomes an LAPD detective after leaving DEA....

Critical scorn is not enough to stop the ultimate battle between heroes, as Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice continues to perform well at the box office. Fans worldwide have been coming out in droves to witness Ben Affleck’s Batman and Henry Cavill’s Superman face off in their first ever co-appearance on the big screen, bringing in an estimated $166.1 million domestically, for a total of $420.1 million worldwide during its opening weekend along....

Fans of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. have been treated to a number of surprises this season, starting with the inclusion of Ghost Rider and continuing through the LMD cycle. Now they’ve gotten their first real glimpse of the Framework as well, the twisted alternate-reality simulation where evil is good and Grant Ward is actually a pretty okay person. It’s obvious from what’s been shown so far that there are a lot more secrets hiding in the Framework, possibly including some major character reveals....

Avengers: Infinity War is almost here, but with less than two weeks to go before release fans are still feverishly trying trying to piece together the movie’s plot from the trailers - and one intriguing fan theory suggests the movie could revolve around multiple timelines. This isn’t too far-fetched, given that Doctor Strange plays a major role in the movie and he just so happens to have the Time Stone around his neck, inside the Eye of Agamotto....
