The newest Suicide Squad is about to face its greatest challenge yet! In May’s upcoming Suicide Squad #6, written by Tom Taylor and art by Bruno Redondo, the team will find themselves hunted by the one-and-only Batman. This incarnation of the Suicide Squad, aka Task Force X, has already had quite the rollercoaster ride. Since issue #1, the team has experienced significant changes. In each issue, the squad has gotten smaller and smaller as it’s been a bloody affair for both new and old members....

The last time fans saw Battlestar Galactica on any screen was with the miniseries Blood and Chrome in 2012. That miniseries told a prequel story to the reboot series from Ron D. Moore that ran on Syfy from 2004 to 2008. Since then, fans have had little news on the future of the franchise, in any form. The miniseries didn’t have the reception that most wanted, and any future plans seemed to stall indefinitely....

Scheduling issues will prevent Batwoman star Ruby Rose from attending San Diego Comic-Con 2019. The news comes as Batwoman, the newest entry in The CW’s Arrowverse, is gearing up to begin its first season. Batwoman was ordered to series back in May and follows Kate Kane, a street fighter who takes over protecting Gotham City from her cousin Bruce Wayne (a.k.a Batman). She must work to conquer her demons and become a beacon of hope for the residents of her city....

Avengers: Endgame has a subtle, yet brilliant, reference to Back to the Future Part II during its epic climax. After the devastating ending of Avengers: Infinity War, the remaining Avengers try and fail to resurrect the dusted victims of Thanos’ snap, locating the Mad Titan only to discover that he has destroyed the Infinity Stoes. Five years later, after the world tries to move on and accept their losses, Steve Rogers and friends can’t give up trying to bring everyone back....

The Russo Brothers really have been living the dream over the last few years. When they shot Captain America: The Winter Soldier, they had no idea that they would soon become two of the most prominent faces of the franchise. Cap’s second outing garnered critical claim and the Russo siblings have since overseen the filming of Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, taking the franchise to new heights along the way....

As fans continue the countdown to Avengers 4, one dying fan has put out a plea for Marvel Studios to tell her what happens in the follow-up to Avengers: Infinity War, since she likely won’t be able to see it herself. Aside from putting out some of the biggest movies on the planet, Marvel Studios has done their fair share of giving back as well, forming Marvel Studios: Hero Acts in October 2016, just ahead of the release of Doctor Strange....

Despite rumors to the contrary, Kevin Feige says the title for Avengers 4 will not be Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet. When Marvel announced back in 2014 that Avengers 3 and 4 would be titled Avengers: Infinity War - Part 1 & 2, comic fans knew just what was in store for them. While Thanos and the Infinity Stones had barely been teased at that point, the subtitle of the films pointed towards an arc in the comics that saw the Mad Titan wipe out half of the universe before various heroes and villains had to unite to stop him....

Barnes & Noble announced today that it’s launching new apps on iOS (and Android and Roku) for its Nook Video service. The service offers a catalogue of HD movies and TV shows available to purchase or rent, and also lets users view their previously purchased Nook and UltraViolet-enabled movies and TV shows. The launch of the apps on new platforms comes following the company’s announcement in June that it was moving to cut its losses with its Nook tablet line and focus only on its e-readers....

Avengers: Endgame almost had a terrible return scene for its dead heroes. The Joe and Anthony Russo-directed flick has some iconic moments that fans loved, including the resurrection of those who were snuffed out of existence five years prior due to Thanos’ (Josh Brolin) deadly snap in Avengers: Infinity War. But apparently, there’s a version of the film devoid of the hair-raising sequence and in its place was a sillier way of bringing back the heroes....

While they’ve done their fair share of team-ups in the past, none will come close to featuring the size and sheer star power that Infinity War can boast. After ten years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that has seen the studio introduce heroes across the universe, they will all come together to stop the ultimate threat: the Mad Titan himself, Thanos....

Warning: SPOILERS for Batwoman #16 Things certainly haven’t been easy for Batwoman in recent issues of DC Comics - her long-lost sister Alice is back, and in this week’s Batwoman #16 Kate Kane has to battle Batman himself to keep her alive. It’s not the first time that her relationship with Alice has made things complicated for Batwoman, either. Alice, aka Elizabeth Kane, is Kate Kane’s twin sister, presumed dead after a childhood kidnapping by a terrorist organization....

A new Avengers: Infinity War clip reveals the first meeting between Thor and the Guardians of the Galaxy. Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, and written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, the upcoming blockbuster brings together almost all superheroes in the famed franchise as they band together to foil Mad Titan Thanos’ evil plans. Promising to find a “narrative thread” in every MCU movie storyline to date, the film will also set the stage for next year’s still-untitled Avengers 4, which will cap-off the 22-film-narrative that the MCU has been expanding on since 2008’s Iron Man....

Awkwafina stars in the new Comedy Central show Awkwafina is Nora from Queens about a young 27-year-old navigating her way through Queens, New York. She still lives at home with her father and grandma and has dropped out of school. Nora attempts to do things that are expected of an adult, like getting a job and moving out, but she runs into countless relatable problems throughout her journey. Awkwafina is taking the film world by storm as she continues to star in hits....

Warning: SPOILERS ahead for Bad Boys for Life. Bad Boys for Life is a hit at the box office, entertaining both audiences and critics. Reuniting the stars of the first two entries in the franchise, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, Bad Boys for Life features high-octane action sequences and witty repartee, but most shocking to fans of the franchise was the second-act death of one of the film’s most recognizable characters....

With Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises, Christopher Nolan gave us perhaps the most definitive on-screen portrayal of the Caped Crusader. The trilogy took us through Bruce Wayne’s origin story and his whole career as a superhero, concluding when he felt comfortable hanging up the cowl and passing on the torch of protecting Gotham to the next generation of heroes, all with a gritty, realistic tone exploring what a real-world Batman would look like....

In the modern world of superhero blockbusters, expanding budgets means nearly every unbelievable or memorable shot is fueled by millions of dollars of CGI. Or, in the case of Batman V Superman, an old Hollywood trick was to thank for one of the most unforgettable shots of Ben Affleck’s Batman. Not one of the biggest, most expensive, most iconic, or thematically resonant - so those hoping for a massive reveal should check their expectations....

Apple’s taken yet another step into the enterprise with its iPhone and iPad closing in on some huge endorsements for the firm, one from the BBC, the other from the EU Commission. The BBC is running a limited iPad trial in some departments to evaluate how feasible it is to use the Apple device to reduce wated paper and boost efficiency. iPads are being made available to the BBC’s UK production, location and technical departments....

Despite what Mark Ruffalo claimed, co-director Joe Russo says there’s only one ending to Avengers: Endgame. Prior to the film’s release, Ruffalo claimed to have shot five different endings to the movie. At the time, he also said that his script had some fake scenes in it, while others were missing entirely. Though it would have been easy to think he was making a joke about the movie’s alternate endings, in the same interview he implied that Captain America gets married in the movie....

Update from the studio: “Sony has a strong relationship with Paul Feig, and we have incredible respect for his work. The cost of reshoots were 3-4 million.” Details here. Dan Aykroyd has slammed director Paul Feig for his overspending on the Ghostbusters reboot, which he believes is the main factor for the lack of a sequel. 2016’s remake of the comedy classic was a controversial prospect pre-release online for its gender-swapped casting and decision to completely ignore the 1984 original, although it did at least get that first film’s stars back for cameos and to endorse the project....
