Avid, the makers of the music industry’s leading DAW called “Pro Tools”, just dropped an iPad version of its pro-sumer Final Cut Pro competitor known as “Avid Studio.” Although the latest Final Cut Pro X update brought multicam editing, broadcast monitoring, and many of the features pro users demanded be re-implemented, the Avid Studio iPad app shows why Apple should and most likely will release FCPX for iPad. The app is available from the App Store now for $4....

Although they’re the only surviving engaged couple from the last season of Bachelor in Paradise, Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour aren’t afraid of discussing their upcoming nuptials. While the engagement between Demi Burnett and Kristian Haggerty, as well as the relationship between Katie Morton and Chris Bukowski, have both come to an end, Hannah and Dylan are still preparing for their future together. While they’ve already stated that they want to have a private ceremony, they’re now revealing who in Bachelor Nation should expect an invite....

While rumors have linked him to the role for years, actor Brad Dourif says he was never approached about playing the Scarecrow in Tim Burton’s Batman Forever. While Tim Burton was set to make a third movie following Batman Returns, the studio soon got cold feet. The sequel made less money than the original and was attacked by parents for being way too dark for children. They decided to go in a lighter direction for Batman Forever, so Burton departed the project....

Batman is the one superhero who could never reveal his secret identity to the world. Secret identities seem to be going out of fashion in the superhero genre. On the big screen, precious few heroes seem to bother too much about them, especially in the MCU. Spider-Man’s was exposed to the world in Spider-Man: Far From Home’s post-credits scene, much to the webhead’s horror. Over in the comics, DC has made history in this week’s Superman #18....

Next spring, Warner Bros. and DC Comics will continue their cinematic universe with the premiere of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, the followup to Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel. Following the debut of the film, which will introduce both Batman and Wonder Woman to the universe, Warner Bros. has a full slate of features planned, including a second release next year in the form of David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, a number of standalone superhero movies, and a two-part Justice League team up....

So far, Batwoman has been all about the mystery of Alice - but it’s being wasted. Nobody was particularly surprised when the Batwoman season 1 premiere revealed that the insane Alice was Kate Kane’s sister, Beth. But it was done in quite a smart way, because the mystery wasn’t who Alice really is; it was how she became Batwoman’s nemesis in the first place. The premiere revealed that the young Beth was lost to a river 15 years ago, and the first flashback scene in Batwoman episode 3 confirmed that the child had been found and imprisoned in some sort of cellar or cabin....

The first reviews for Avengers: Endgame have arrived. A direct followup to Avengers: Infinity War, Anthony and Joe Russo’s Endgame marks the long-awaited finale to Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the 21 MCU films released to date. The movie further promises to usher in a whole new paradigm for the franchise at large. Indeed, by the time the Avengers have defeated Thanos once and for all in the film, the MCU (and all the beings that populate it) could end up looking a whole lot different....

Avengers: Infinity War will be the third installment in the Avengers franchise under the umbrella of Marvel Studios. It is the largest and most action-packed corner of the Marvel Cinematic Universe where all of the heroes and villains come together to play. Avengers: Infinity War star Sebastian Stan appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America, and posted a photo from the show’s set of himself posing with a toy replica of the Infinity Gauntlet. The appearance was to promote Avengers: Infinity War and a new children’s charity initiative called Marvel: Universe Unites. Stan, who plays Bucky Barnes aka. the Winter Soldier, posted a video on Instagram of him flexing a toy version of the Infinity Gauntlet - one of the key artifacts wielded by the cosmic villain Thanos in Infinity War....

Avengers: Infinity War is 10 years (and 18 movies) in the making, pitting Earth’s Mightiest Heroes against the universes’s most capable enemy, Thanos. Heroes have risen and fallen, villains have come, gone, and changed allegiances, and audiences have yet to feel exhausted by the sheer magnitude of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s ambitious undertaking. While Infinity War is hardly the end of an era, it’s an undeniable turning point, with Marvel Studios looking to the future....

There’s a year between Avengers: Infinity War and the release of next year’s Avengers 4, and that means Marvel’s stars have plenty of time to unwittingly spoil the film. Some of the cast have form for dropping major spoilers. Mark Ruffalo accidentally spoiled the end of Infinity War a year ago (but managed to pass it off as a joke). And Tom Holland is so notorious for his loose lips that, when he accidentally took his Avengers: Infinity War script home, the young actor actually it was necessary to burn the script in order to reassure producers it wouldn’t leak....

Scroll down for more.] When Ben Affleck was announced as the actor who would be playing Batman in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, the reaction on the Internet was mixed. The name “Batfleck” was coined to refer to the actor in his role as the Dark Knight. Then the movie came out and though it has been divisive, there’s one thing many viewers seem to agree on: Ben Affleck as Batman was by and large one of the best things about it....

Tom Holland was not allowed to have a script for Avengers: Endgame, a movie he stars in. Holland, who portrays Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is notorious for dropping spoilers for the films he’s appeared in. He’s become so famous for it that one fan put together a video of every time Holland nearly spoiled Avengers: Infinity War, but his co-star Benedict Cumberbatch, who portrays Doctor Strange, stopped him....

Batman writer Tom King has revealed that he considers the animated movie Batman: Mask of the Phantasm to be canon in his upcoming DC Comics miniseries. Widely considered the best Batman film ever made, Mask of the Phantasm made a minimal splash at the box office, but has become a fan favorite in the years since its release. The basic premise was lifted from Batman: Year Two, in which Batman faced off against Gotham’s original vigilante, The Reaper....
