With as many different versions of Batman as there have been throughout the comics, various live-action and animated TV series, and movies, there have also been many different versions of the Batmobile. It is perhaps the most iconic vehicle in comic book history, and so it was no surprise when the first image to surface from Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice was a tease of the newly-redesigned Batmobile from the movie.

Since then, the Batmobile has continued to play a large role in the various trailers that have been released for the film, including one particularly memorable scene from the final movie trailer in which Batman drives his heavily-armored car directly into the Man of Steel (with less-than-desirable results). One constant in the trailers, though, is that the Batmobile has taken a back seat to the actual flesh-and-blood actors from the movie… until now.

The foreign-language promo trailer above is the first that has put the Batmobile front and center. It is not a particularly long trailer, clocking in at just 10 seconds, but it does provide the opportunity for Batman’s vehicle of choice to finally take the spotlight for itself. It still features a shot of Batman in the driver’s seat, in case there was any question as to who was behind the wheel, and ends with a now-familiar banner image of Batman and Superman staring each other down, but for the most part this video is all about the wheels.

With the last full trailer for the movie being labeled the “final” trailer, it seems unlikely that there will be much in the way of additional footage from the movie released before it hits theaters in March. That may be a good thing, since some fans have been upset by what they see as an overabundance of spoilers in previous trailers. Still, as long as there is an international market there is the opportunity for short promos such as this one to hit the Internet and provide those desperate for anything Batman V Superman-related with an opportunity to catch an additional glimpse of what is to come.
