Director Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be the second major comic book movie adaptation to hit theaters in 2016 (following after Tim Miller’s Deadpool), but it’s very much the first ’event’ superhero film of the year. The project may have started out as a straight-forward sequel to Sndyer’s Superman franchise re-launch Man of Steel, but it’s since evolved into a gateway drug to a pair of Justice League films, as well as additional solo feature films for DC’s finest alike.

The third (final?) Batman v Superman theatrical trailer teased that among the film’s highlights will be the moment where DC’s Holy Superhero Trinity - Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill), and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) - unite to battle an opponent together, for the first time on the big screen in live-action form. It remains to be seen just much screen time in total Gadot’s Diana Prince gets in the film (which, lest we forget, is titled Batman v Superman), but she’s an important enough player to the movie’s narrative to warrant her own character poster, it would seem.

You can check out those Batman v Superman character one-sheets, below:

It’s worth noting that although DC’s “big three” each got their own Batman v Superman poster, other future Justice League members slated to make an appearance in the movie - such as Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) - have not gotten their own one-sheets… not yet, anyway. That is to be expected, though, as it’s been clear for some time that the revised Batman v Superman script by Chris Terrio (Argo) will focus on the ideological/physical clash between its eponymous characters, first and foremost. Elements from the larger DC Extended Universe (that includes Wonder Woman) shall be integrated into that narrative core in a - hopefully - organic fashion.

Furthermore, at this point it’s safe to assume that many of those DCEU “Easter Eggs” - be it Miller’s Flash costume design or actor Ray Fisher as Victor Stone/Cyborg - are being held back until Batman v Superman hits theaters - assuming they are included in the movie at all (which is not a given for some of these “Easter Eggs”). So, for all those concerned that the reveal of Doomsday during the film’s latest trailer was too much, too soon, rest assured: there’s still a whole lot about this DC feature that remains firmly under-wraps, at this stage.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens on March 25, 2016, followed by Suicide Squad on August 5, 2016; Wonder Woman on June 23, 2017; Justice League Part One on November 17, 2017; The Flash on March 23, 2018; Aquaman on July 27, 2018; Shazam on April 5, 2019; Justice League Part Two on June 14, 2019; Cyborg on April 3, 2020; and Green Lantern on June 19, 2020.
