The Bachelorette’s Tyler Cameron is finally off his friend’s couch and into his own apartment. After crashing with his business partner and friend Matt James in the initial weeks following his move to New York City, Cameron and James finally found a place big enough for two of them.

Cameron first appeared on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette where he came in second to eventual winner Jed Wyatt. Although things between Cameron and Brown didn’t work out, Cameron didn’t allow heartbreak to hold him down. After the show ended, he moved to New York City to pursue his modeling career and build his business with James. James is the founder of ABC Food Tours, an outreach initiative focused on engaging kids in underserved communities. While contributing to the growth of ABC Food Tours, Cameron was also crashing on James’ futon and hunting for an apartment they could both move into.

On October 1, the day finally came. In videos uploaded to his Instagram story and documented by Us Weekly, Cameron announced to his followers that move out day had finally arrived. “Goodbye futon. It’s been a great four months," Cameron said on Instagram. “It’s been real, it’s been fun, but it ain’t been real fun.” He then walked around his apartment, bidding his former crib a fond goodbye before announcing that he was officially moving into his new place.

Between James and Cameron, the entire moving experience was documented on Instagram, including a ride from a friendly stranger that allowed the pair to move their stuff from the Upper East Side to the Lower East Side. James filmed Cameron opening the door, and even addressed their lack of furniture. “Now we just need a couch, bed, TV, rug,” James captioned his video as the pair stepped into their new apartment. Of course, Cameron wrapped up the whole experience with an Instagram post on his timeline. “Got a new apartment so I’m acting brand new,” Cameron said in front of a stunning window view of NYC.

Cameron first announced that he was looking for an apartment in August, so it seems he took his time finding the perfect place. Although he has previously expressed that living on a futon wasn’t that bad, gaining his own bedroom has to be a huge relief. Now, he can date Gigi Hadid or whoever else he may or may not be seeing in peace. Kudos to Tyler!
