The people have spoken, and they’ve finally chosen their favorite leads from The Bachelorette. While every new star earns their fair share of haters and supporters, new data from analytics firm SEMRush reveals the most popular Bachelorettes of all time.

Although The Bachelorette premiered only a year after The Bachelor in 2003, the female counterpart of the popular ABC show didn’t take off quite as quickly as the male version. Today, the franchise follows an equal premiere schedule, with one season of The Bachelor per year followed by one season of The Bachelorette. In the beginning, however, The Bachelor would air multiple seasons per year, followed by infrequent installments of The Bachelorette. Therefore, The Bachelor is already entering its 24th season, while The Bachelorette just finished its 15th installment in 2019. However, 15 seasons means 15 women who have earned both the love and criticism of Bachelor Nation fans. Now, devoted followers have chosen their favorite Bachelorettes of all time.

Recently released data reveals the most popular Bachelorettes in Bachelor Nation history. Topping the list is JoJo Fletcher, the season 12 lead. Still engaged to her final pick, Jordan Rogers, Fletcher’s stunning good looks, enviable sense of style, emotional vulnerability, and outspoken nature all struck a chord with fans. Following Fletcher is Hannah Brown, the season 15 lead who’s still fresh on the mind of many devoted Bachelor Nation viewers. She’s still appearing on TV screens, first as the champion of the most recent season of Dancing With the Stars and now as the crying mess on Peter Weber’s season who isn’t over her ex. Her brutal honesty in all things stuck out to fans, and many support her for being very real and genuine in all her Bachelor Nation appearances. Coming in third place on the list is Kaitlyn Bristowe, the season 11 lead. Although Bristowe’s season was filled with controversy, primarily regarding her openness with her sexuality, many fans fell in love with the charismatic Canadian. What’s more, she’s built quite a following after the show through her entrepreneurial efforts and her podcast.

Although Fletcher, Brown, and Bristowe were considered the top three Bachelorette favorites, fans still had plenty to say about the other leads on the show. After Bristowe, the top Bachelorettes ranked in the following order: Rachel Lindsay (season 13), Becca Kufrin (season 14), Andi Dorfman (season 10), Emily Maynard (season 8), Ali Fedotowsky (season 6), Desiree Harstock (season 9), and Ashley Hebert (season 7). Each Bachelorette made an impact on fans for a different reason. Lindsay, for example, stands out among the rest as the first black Bachelorette. Dorfman, on the other hand, sent herself home during Juan Pablo’s season and called him out for his disinterested and patronizing behavior.

Learning which Bachelorettes are most popular offers fans some insight into the thought process of the rest of Bachelor Nation. Oftentimes, the negative comments get more attention than the positive, and it’s difficult to know who many of the fans resonate with. In fact, it can be difficult to tell if fans like anyone, particularly if you spend time looking through the leads’ Instagram and taking in the hoards of negative comments. Remembering the positive attributes of these women and learning who Bachelor Nation loves most brings a warm sense of nostalgia that allows us to reflect on past seasons and remember why we love this franchise so much.
