ABC finally revealed who exactly will be vying for Peter Weber’s heart on the new season of The Bachelor. Although the show released a preliminary cast list before filming began, the new list features a finalized version of the woman who will appear on the season, along with better pictures and short bios.

Peter Weber first appeared on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette. Although the two developed a close and intimate relationship, Brown sent Weber home after Fantasy Suite dates, enraging fans across America. All was not lost, however. A few months after Peter’s heartbreak, ABC announced that he would be stepping into the spotlight once again, this time as the Bachelor. Only a short time later, disaster struck again, this time in the form of a facial injury for poor Pilot Pete. Thankfully, doctors stitched him up quickly and he was back to filming in no time. While promos for the season have given a small look into the the women we should watch out for, the newly released bios tell us a little more about the season 24 contestants.

In typical ABC fashion, The Bachelor posted the cast list to their website, complete with bios for each woman. While the bios provide only the most basic information about the women on the season, the announcement was accompanied by a Facebook Live where Chris Harrison himself introduced the season 24 women. Not only did it give a closer look at the women of Peter’s season, it also provided a little more information about who dedicated fans should be keeping their eye on. According to Harrison, the “wildest roller coaster ride of the entire season” centers around 24-year-old beauty queen Alayah. Reverting to his usual hyperbole, Harrison also says, “Something we’ve never had happen before in the history of this show happens to Alayah.” Harrison also gave some insight into Hannah Ann, a contestant who found the show through her friend, former contestant Hannah Godwin. While discussing the new Hannah, Harrison stated that she seemed rather naive about how the show worked. “For someone who was so naive and innocent, she ended up in the middle of absolutely everything,” Harrison continued. “Every bit of drama that you could run into, this was Hannah Ann.”

As he continued to discuss each girl one by one, Harrison also revealed that there were “a lot of instances where girls knew other girls before coming onto the show.” One such example is flight attendant Eunice, who apparently works for the same airline as another contestant. Other flight attendants on this season include 26-year-old Jade and 26-year-old Megan. Other potential connections could develop from 28-year-old Kelsey and 23-year-old Maurissa, both of whom used to be part of the pageant world. In other news of women who may start the season with a target on their back, Harrison mentioned that 27-year-old Kelley met Peter before the season even began. The two ran into each at a party and, according to Harrison’s narrative, “both thought it could be destiny.”

While it’s hard to know who to watch out for before the season even begins, Harrison’s commentary certainly teases some major drama this season. The pageant connection between Hannah Brown and Caelynn Miller-Keyes created some tension last season, and it seems the producers are trying to recreate that dynamic. Of course, they also have to play into Weber’s “Pilot Pete” title by including a healthy dose of flight attendants. The other women seem like a typical range of Bachelor contestants, many of whom won’t make it long enough on the show to be remembered. Still, despite the continued use of hyperbole and bad puns, it looks like it may turn out to be a pretty good season.
