The cast of Bachelor in Paradise Season 6 has finally been revealed and it includes some well-known veterans from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. Some are beloved fan favorites, while others… not so much.

While the hopeful singles chosen didn’t find love the first time around on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, there’s a good chance they could in paradise. Bachelor in Paradise - the Bachelor spinoff in which former contestants come together in Mexico for a second chance at finding “the one” has a completely different tone than the original shows. The reason: there is no main love interest. The group has an unequal amount of men or women, and anyone left without a partner after the rose ceremony is sent home. Although this has a different tone than the original shows, it has resulted in several marriages, including couples Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert and Carly Waddell and Evan Bass.

The first seven members from the incoming Bachelor in Paradise cast were announced on Good Morning America. The former cast members that made the cut are Bachelor alums Demi Burnett and Tayshia Adams, who appeared on Colton Underwood’s season, and Bachelorette alum John Paul Jones, who gained a fan base on Twitter after Hannah B. recently sent him home. They’ll be joined by other memorable contestants like Bibiana Julian, who also appeared on Bachelor: Winter Games, Blake Horstmann, Clay Harbor, and Cam Ayala.

Bachelor in Paradise has such a high success rate for couples. In fact, former Bachelor in Paradise cast members Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone just got married on the same beach in Mexico where they fell in love on the show. They shared the big day with other members of The Bachelor nation, including Ashley Iaconetti, Ben Higgins, and Becca Kufrin, and the ceremony was officiated by none other than the franchise’s host, Chris Harrison. That might not be his last time doing it, either, because two other former Bachelor in Paradise stars, Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk, announced their engagement earlier this month. This gives hope to the new contestants who will have been unlucky in love, but will have another shot at it in season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise.

ABC announced the remaining cast members during the premiere of Grand Hotel. The rest of the cast includes Caelynn Miller-Keyes, Chris Bukowski, Derek Peth, Hannah Godwin, Jane Averbukh, Katie Morton, Kevin Fortenberry, Nicole Lopez-Alvar, Onyeka Ehie, Sydney Lotuaco, and Wills Reid. Though there have been contestants who have revealed that filming isn’t always paradise, complaining about the lack of A.C., the crabs, and being forced to hang out with the same people day in and day out, it still makes for entertaining television, and audiences will see this August if fan favorites find love this time around or if they will left without a rose yet again.
