ABC’s Bachelor in Paradise stars Demi Burnett and Kristian Haggerty’s potential engagement was just teased in a new Instagram post. Fans are speculating the two will make it official soon.

Burnett - who originally appeared on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor - and Haggerty are the first same-sex couple on Bachelor in Paradise. They’re also rumored to get engaged at the end of this season. Viewers have watched their relationship unfold on the show, after Haggerty surprised Burnett in Mexico. The show’s host, Chris Harrison, announced on a recent episode that he’d be changing the rules for the pair, allowing Haggerty to stay at the resort, despite not being a member of Bachelor Nation, and pursue Burnett. Things appear to be going well for them so far (they exchanged “I love yous” on their one-on-one date); so well, in fact, that one of Burnett’s friends might’ve just spoiled their engagement news.

The reality star’s friend Heather Martin - who also appeared on Underwood’s season of The Bachelor -  recently shared a photo on Instagram of her and Burnett in a wedding dress shop. She captioned it, “Love my girl always,” with a red heart emoji. While she didn’t mention anything outright about Burnett and Haggerty’s engagement, fans couldn’t help but notice the white wedding dresses hanging behind the women. They immediately began to speculate that Burnett was shopping for her own wedding dress, in which she’d get married to Haggerty.

One follower commented, “Is that a wedding dress shop??!!” Another wrote, “WHO’S GETTING MARRIED HEATHER?” But Martin wouldn’t give away any other details. Fans weren’t super shocked by the post, however, since there have been rumors that Burnett and Haggerty get engaged ever since the latest season of Bachelor in Paradise began. In teasers for the show, Burnett is seen saying she “smells an engagement,” plus she’s already told Haggerty she’s in love with her. Despite some fans wanting the couple to go home (per the show’s rules), most are excited to see their relationship blossom.

Viewers will have to wait a few more weeks, when the Bachelor in Paradise finale airs, to see who pops the question to whom. But needless to say, things are going strong between Burnett and Haggerty. Judging by the reports so far, it doesn’t seem like that’ll be changing any time soon. But Burnett warned fans it won’t be all rainbows and butterflies, and to expect lots of tears. Hopefully, in the end, they’ll be happy tears.
