Avengers: Infinity War’s Mark Ruffalo is the subject of a hilarious, psychedelic, and brand new meme music video. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actor is known for portraying Bruce Banner aka The Hulk in films like The Avengers and Avengers: Infinity War, but he’s also known for his big personality and ability to deliver meme-worthy lines during interviews. Last year, Ruffalo spoke with BBC Radio 1 about portraying the Hulk on the big screen, along with the public response to his awkward franchise initiation at The Avengers Comic-Con panel in 2010. While introducing Ruffalo, Robert Downey Jr. demanded a warm welcome for his co-star and suggested that he was “reprising” the Bruce Banner role.

That wasn’t the case, however, as Ed Norton previously starred as the character in the 2008 film The Incredible Hulk. When recalling the Comic-Con moment, Ruffalo delivered the now-famous line, “Yeah, Mark Ruffalo, huh?” Then, last February, YouTube user Aldo Jones released a meme music video that opens with the aforementioned interview quote before transforming into neon-themed clip with an electronic beat and numerous pop culture references. The premise is that, “Yeah, Mark Ruffalo, huh?” can provide a surrealistic spin on any popular pop culture moment, whether it’s from Breaking Bad, The Sixth Sense, or Aladdin. The original music video currently has over one million views.

And now, Aldo Jones has released an extended 4-minute version of the music video which has been dubbed “the most demented video on YouTube.” This time around, Ruffalo’s head is superimposed over images from the 1977 disco film Saturday Night Fever, aided by another pounding electronic beat. Take a look:

In the video, Mark Ruffalo replaces the likes of John Cena and Spider-Man, as well as Maximus Decimus Meridius from Gladiator and even Gollum from The Lord of the Rings. It’s indeed a bizarre mixture of clips in which Ruffalo the Meme dances in a variety of settings, even in diapers for the big conclusion. Based on the comment section, it seems that the music video’s current view count will likely surpass the original - and it very much deserves it.

The thing is, this isn’t the only thing Ruffalo has inspired over the years. A few years ago, Ruffalo inspired a popular meme after walking behind Ant-Man star Paul Rudd during a Comic-Con interview, asking, “Is that Paul Rudd?” Then, at the Avengers: Infinity War premiere in April, Rudd flipped the script and recreated the moment while Ruffalo spoke to the media on the red carpet. While the Marvel Cinematic Universe is full of big personalities, Ruffalo has often been the center of attention off-camera, and he’s now the unwitting star of a hilarious meme music video, one that will surely elevate his status within pop culture.
