UK fans now have an even shorter wait until Avengers: Infinity War arrives, as it will be hitting theaters in the region a day earlier than in the rest of the world. With Black Panther dominating theaters and Jessica Jones season 2 premiering today, Marvel fans haven’t exactly had a lack of content so far in 2018. But it’s hard to deny that the impending release of Infinity War isn’t on most moviegoers minds as the summer blockbuster season draws near.

It’s because of the anticipation that everyone was taken aback when Marvel changed the Avengers: Infinity War release date in hilarious fashion, announcing on Twitter in a conversation with Robert Downey, Jr. that the movie would arrive worldwide a week earlier than expected. Marvel often puts their movies out one after another, but it seems they wanted to give Ant-Man & the Wasp more distance from this year’s biggest film. As it stands, Black Panther will likely still be in some theaters by the time the next MCU movie shows up. And for some lucky fans, that will come even earlier.

Yahoo UK is reporting that Marvel has bumped up the release date for Avengers: Infinity War in the United Kingdom to April 26. That means fans in the region will get a day’s head start on the massive battle against Thanos, so spoiler-weary fans may want to avoid UK Twitter. Whether previews screenings will thus begin on April 25 is unknown, though early screenings of Infinity War in North America will obviously allow audiences the same Thursday night release.

With Avengers: Infinity War now closer than ever, it’s all the more unusual that Marvel hasn’t yet released a full-length trailer for the film. Of course, the latest MCU movie hardly needs more press, but fans are eager to see some of the missing characters and learn more about its plot.

Thankfully, EW’s Avengers: Infinity War coverage has been revealing all sorts of details. We’ve learned more information about the teams that will form in the film, and know a bit about Tony Stark’s mindset heading into the movie. Images from the film have been pouring in today too, offering new looks at the various costumes and character pairings.

The most exciting image so far, however, has been Thanos throwing a moon. The reveal not only teases how powerful the Infinity Stones (and their wielder) will be, but confirms the mysterious orange planet in the movie is actually Titan, Thanos’ ruined homeworld. As the release of the film fast approaches, expect more reveals in the coming days for Avengers: Infinity War.
