What’s going on between The Bachelor’s Nick Viall and Demi Burnett? Although the pair denied rumors that they’re dating, they attended the 2020 Golden Globes together on Sunday, January 5. Was their appearance a friendly get together or a sign of a budding relationship? Sean Murphy’s Batman: White Knight universe is getting bigger. On Monday, Murphy revealed that his DC Comics Black Label universe will expand with new series featuring popular Batman characters with new creative teams for an all-new imprint. Murphy’s first Batman series set in the ‘Murphyverse’ was Batman: White Knight. The book was a new take where the Joker became cured of his madness and went after Batman, calling him out to the public as the true villain....

Now that Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice has all but concluded its box office run, attention has turned to the impending home media release. Warner Bros. will make the film available on Digital HD starting June 28, before the physical Blu-ray hits retailers on July 19. The biggest selling point for it is the existence of the infamous R-rated “Ultimate Edition,” which adds roughly 30 minutes to the run time and ideally provides clarity on some of the film’s more muddled elements and subplots....

Though the film got off to a good start at the box office, the critical slamming and mixed word-of-mouth spelled a rough second weekend for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. A Friday-to-Friday comparison showed a drop of over 80 percent in the box office, and it looks like the final figures for the full weekend will see a somewhat similar drop. While the DCEU’s sophomore effort may not have been what everyone wanted, it did have some striking visuals....

The wait for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is almost over. Awareness of the movie’s release date (and our proximity to it) has become hard coded in the minds of anyone who’s ever expressed interest in either The Man of Steel or The Dark Knight. Yes, it’s that big of a deal. As a matter of fact, judging by what we’ve seen so far of Batman v Superman, everything about it – from the two superhero titans waging war against one another, to the methods they employ in battle, to the villains along for the ride - are all a very big deal....

An Avengers: Endgame deleted scene shows 2014 Gamora (Zoe Saldana) alive after Iron Man’s snap, while all the other heroes honor the fallen Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). Earlier this year, Marvel Studios released the culmination of the Marvel Cinematic Universe thus far with Avengers: Endgame, which saw the original six heroes team up to restore all those lost to Thanos’ snap in Avengers: Infinity War. Avengers: Endgame also set up Phase 4 of the MCU, paving the way for certain threads and characters to be further explored in future movies like Black Widow and Thor: Love and Thunder....

The success of Star Wars was far from a given when it was due for release in 1977. The movie’s production had been stressful and went $3 million over budget. Last year, it was announced that Cinemax’s ultra-pulpy crime-in-a-small-town series Banshee would end with season 4. The series had been a cult favorite from the beginning, with its tale of a nameless ex-con assuming the identity of a small town sheriff while attempting to reconnect with his former flame and the daughter he never knew. Amidst the criminal and almost-but-not-quite domestic drama going on, the series found itself in the midst of a character ensemble unlike anything else on television....

The upcoming Batman movie has changed quite a lot since it was announced as part of the slate for the unofficially titled DC Extended Universe. The first big blockbuster on 2016’s lineup is Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, which arrives in March. Marketing for the film is starting to push into high gear, and it seems like there is something new to talk about every day. Actors are starting to make the rounds, talking about their characters, like Amy Adams who recently commented on her relationship with Superman and her “big moment” with Batman. Co-director Joe Russo says that Avengers: Endgame’s tone is very different from Avengers: Infinity War. In less than a month, Marvel Studios will wrap up the 22-film arc that they have been unspooling since 2008’s Iron Man. A direct sequel to last year’s Avengers 3, the Phase 3 capper will be the fourth MCU project for the Russo Brothers and writers Stephen Markus and Christopher McFeely. Having the privilege and burden to follow-up such a well-received film, the pressure to deliver is not lost on the foursome, but at this point, they seem to know how exactly they’re going to wrap-up this massive narrative....

Warning: SPOILERS for Avengers: Endgame Avengers: Endgame just teased Black Widow’s father ahead of her solo movie - but who exactly is Ivan Petrovich? In Marvel Comics, he is her guardian, but not her birth father. However, that doesn’t look to be the case in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. When Black Widow and Hawkeye travel to Vormir in Avengers: Endgame, Red Skull calls her “Natasha, daughter of Ivan.” This may have seemed like an unimportant piece of information, but she later confesses that she did not know her father - or at least that “Ivan” was her true father until this cosmic figure claimed it to be so....

Peter Weber from The Bachelor recently compared his bloody set injury to a murder scene. Weber became tabloid fodder and the butt of a Halloween parody by fellow Bachelor alum Nick Viall following an injury he sustained while filming season 24. The accident happened while Weber was in Costa Rica on the quest to find his wife. The show was taping one of its infamous dating segments in the Central American country when Weber, while in a golf cart, had a nasty altercation with its windshield....

The funding follows a $335 million Series D round last May and will be used to hire more people and expand the already growing customer base that spans 16 markets and five regions. Back Market co-founder and CEO Thibaud Hug de Larauze told ZDNet that a major focal point for the company this year would be expanding brand awareness and the benefits of refurbished devices. “Our goal is to make refurbished electronics the first choice for tech purchases,” Hug de Larauze said....

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice has now entered week three of its box office (at the time of writing this), even as the larger film-loving community continues arguing about the film itself - not to mention, what its box office means, in terms of not only the general reception for Batman V Superman, but Warner Bros. Pictures’ own plans for future DC Extended Universe movies too. The Zack Snyder-directed superhero film received a mixed-to-negative critical reception (including some unusually vituperative reviews from critics), even before Batman V Superman enjoyed a dynamite domestic box office debut of $166 million… even as its numbers dropped from Friday to Sunday of its opening weekend....
