BBC Worldwide plans a paid for international version of iPlayer in a move which would give it more control over the price of its content, and could provide an alternative to iTunes for accessing the same. The plan still requires approval from the BBC Trust. If approved, international viewers will be able to buy episodes of the BBC’s top-flight shows, such as Doctor Who, Torchwood and Top Gear. The broadcaster would also make available some classic shows from its archives....

In terms of overall quality, Batman v Superman has been thoroughly polarizing: pleasing some and disappointing others....

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice wasn’t light on dream sequences. It opened with one of young Bruce being lifted by bats, then had a grown-up Wayne menaced by a Man-Bat-esque monster in his family crypt, and later Clark Kent had a discussion with his deceased father as part of his self-imposed exile. By far the most talked about, though, was the Knightmare sequence - a time displacement/Flash-aided premonition/darkest timeline dream (depending on how you read the film), it showed an even older Batman in a ravaged future where New God Darkseid had invaded and Superman’s become a darker, Injustice-hued murderer....

Battlefield V is a first-person shooter game developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It is the eleventh main installment in the Battlefield series and the successor to 2016’s Battlefield 1 and was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on November 20, 2018. Telltale Games has made a name for itself by producing story-centric adventure games based on popular franchises, including both The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. Batman is a franchise that has lent itself to some popular and highly-regarded games with Rocksteady Studios’ recent Arkham series, which started with Batman: Arkham Asylum and concluded with Batman: Arkham Knight. It’s no surprise, then, that expectations have been high since Telltale announced its own Batman game in December of last year during The Game Awards 2015....

Famously, or perhaps infamously, Batman and Robin ended the original Batman series of films and killed off the comic book genre for a period of time. Many fans hated the direction that director Joel Schumacher took with the franchise, turning away from the dark, stylistic tone of the Burton helmed films in favor of a more camp and kid-friendly tone.
