LA’s Finest, the Bad Boys spinoff series, has been picked up by Charter Communications. The series, starring Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba, was given a full 13-episode order. With Pam Veasey (CSI: New York) onboard as co-showrunner, along with The Blacklist writers Brandon Margolis and Brandon Sonnier, the series is set to premiere on Charter’s Spectrum cable platform sometime in 2019. Barclays has released its latest analyst report. The analysts, who have a mixed track record of accuracy, indicate continued iPhone 8 and iPhone X ‘weakness’ is being partly offset by continued sales of iPhone 7. Most interestingly, the report says to expect new AirPods in early 2019 with noise cancelling features. Due to the small form factor of AirPod earbuds, noise cancelling is very unlikely to rival bigger cans with active noise cancellation like the Beats Studio 3....

Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo have debunked a fan theory claiming the movie’s memorable “I love you 3000” line was actually a reference to the combined 3000 minute runtime of all the MCU movies. The line “I love you 3000” was of course first uttered by Tony Stark’s daughter Morgan during a touching domestic scene in Endgame, and later took on greater poignancy when Stark’s hologram said the line back to Morgan during his funeral (Stark having sacrificed himself to save the universe from Thanos)....

Following up on a bevy of miscellaneous issues with Apple Pay, some Bank of America account holders are now reporting that the new service is charging them twice for some transactions. Re/code has now confirmed that Bank of America is in fact experiencing a technical error that is causing the double charges and is currently attempting to roll out a solution that will resolve the problem. The glitch was apparently the result of a miscommunication between the bank’s systems and an unnamed payment network and wasn’t Apple’s fault at all, according to the report....
